Chris Robert Evans, born on June 13. 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American actor. He’s best known for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series of superhero films.
His work in the Marvel film series gave him worldwide attention and established him as one of the highest-paid actors in the world. Before his run as Cap., he dabbled in comic books movies with 2005 and 2007’s Fantastic Four films, where he played the Human Torch. Other notable projects include Not Another Teen Movie (2001), The Perfect Score (2004), Sunshine (2007), Gifted (2017), and Knives Out (2019). He’s also starred in the romantic comedies, The Nanny Diaries (2007) and Playing It Cool (2015). He was crowned People’s Sexiest Man of 2022 in Nov. of that year.
